Are about the simplest way of selling advertising, once accepted adcode is placed on the site and ads are served automatically. The network takes
care of selling that space. Most require a minimum amount of traffic and may also require a minimum click through rate.
This one accepted Timelines when it was just starting out. They have skyscraper,
pop-behinds, above the fold banners, 'Invue' pop-ups, half-page, medium and small rectangles, and interstitial ads. Fastclick allows you to
choose what ads get shown and has a nice publisher interface.
They require around 2500 page
views a month and a minimum Click Through Rate (ctr) of .25%. The ads may not be shown on
forums or chat pages, pages that the webmaster does not have 100% control.
Fastclick pays at $50 per month. They can send a check or deposit money into
a Paypal account. They pay 65% of the gross revenue.
Burst
Burst has pop-ups, pop-behinds, Above-the-Scroll Banner (468x60) / Leaderboard (728x90),
Box (300x250), Below the Scroll, Cube (125 x 125), Skyscraper (120x600)/Wide Skyscraper (160x600)
which makes them very versitile in filling in various spots on pages. They also have outlets for email
advertising and some related tools to help out a webmaster in general. The admin is
somewhat cluttered but useful.
They would like sites that will meet the minimum $50 payout each 6 months and
around 5,000 impressions each month. They do not allow there ads pages teh webmaster dopes not have complete
control or directories/search engines. You will also be required to have a link to a small user servey, whose
statistics you can view also.
Burst has 3 contract levels and rates. Month to month pays 50%, a one year
contract pays 60% and a three yeat contract pays 65%. There is also a mechanism to sell advertising for your site
exclusively. Burst pays at $50.
Adsense
Google Adsense serves text and some image advertising based on the text of the page on which the ad is placed.
There are many sizes and features in the display and records.
There is an option of adding a default ad it if Adsense can not find a cotextual ad to match the page with the code.
textads.biz
Textads.biz Serves small javascript served one ad text boxes.
You can sell ads one your site through this system, ad you own filler ads, and accept ads bought on textads.biz itself. Payments are made through
Paypal. CPM, CPC, and timed ads are available. Minumum payout is $5.
SearchFeed
At its core Searchfeed is a PPC search engine that serves
its database through XML feeds. They also have a premade search engine you can place on any site with javascript and cutomizable javascript ads.
It takes a little savy to get the full potential from this system, but wizards are in place to help auto generate all the basics.
Revenue is from ads clicked and payout is at $25 through check or Paypal.
