I've been running websites for many years and one of the things that was, and still is, difficult is earning money
to keep those websites going. So I've decided to list some of the plans that I've come across during my time online.
For now I have only listed third party plans. More money can be made selling advertising directly, but on the whole for
many sites even those ads need augmented to make sure all the available adspace is sold. I've divided the third party plans into 2 broad and
sometimes overlapping categories: Ad Networks and Affiliate Networks.
These are networks that handle most every facade of serving ads. Generally a html or javascript snippet is placed on the site and
the ad network does the rest.
These networks allow webmasters to deal with individual merchants, whose pay rates and types vary but usually revolve around pay per performance.
The webmaster is generally more responsable for effective ad placement.
